My name is Al Davis.  I live in New Orleans most of the time with my wife, Janice.   

Before Katrina ... our 3 children and 5 grandchildren lived on the same street with us.  

After Katrina ... our children and grandchildren all had to leave New Orleans. 

One daughter and a grand-daughter found the Historic Town of Pittsboro and Chatham County, North Carolina.

So that is how we came to know Pittsboro. 

We have made many trips to Chatham County since 2005.

In June of 2008 we started bringing shrimp with us. 

Then a little later we added crawfish, crabmeat, fish, sausages, olive oil, coffee and many other Cajun and Creole products from Louisiana, because these products are so hard to find in North Carolina.

In 2011 we added fish and scallops from the Carolina Coast to our list of seafood. 

We originally named our business Louisiana Fresh Shrimp but now, we actually bring all kinds of seafood to Chatham from both the Carolina Coast and Louisiana.                 

        We love North Carolina!

We love Chatham County and the beautiful state of North Carolina!

We are licensed by the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries as a Seafood Wholesale/Retail Seller, License Number: 392636. This license allows us to buy directly from the shrimp boats at the docks in Southeast Louisiana.  We are also licensed to ship Blue Crab and that license is: 402633.

We are licensed to do business in the Town of Pittsboro.
